Connie Mack Discusses His Political Memoir

February 4, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Connie Mack III will discuss his recently published book, Citizen Mack: Politics, an Honorable Calling.

Carl Van Ness, University historian, will conduct the interview with the senator. The event is free, but registration is required: http://ufl.to/citizenmack.

Citizen Mack is his memoir of an 18-year journey to and from Capitol Hill. In 1982, Mack left a successful banking career to run for the House of Representatives, where he served three terms before running for one of Florida’s seats in the U.S. Senate. He served two terms as senator, then chose not to run for reelection. On returning to the private sector, Mack became chairman, and subsequently chairman emeritus, of the H. Lee Moffitt Comprehensive Cancer Center in Tampa.
